Citate despre mesele in familie

There is something profoundly satisfying about sharing a meal. Eating together, breaking bread together, is one of the oldest and most fundamentally unifying of human experiences – Exista o placere profunda in a lua masa impreuna cu altii. A manca impreuna, a rupe painea impreuna este una dintre cele mai vechi si mai unificatoare experiente umane. (Barbara Coloroso)

I had a great childhood, a very close-knit family. We were all overweight, and we had good times eating together, I imagine – Am avut o copilarie minunata, intr-o familie foarte trainica. Eram toti supraponderali, probabil pentru ca ne simteam foarte bine mancand impreuna. (Stephen Furst)

I wonder if I love the communal act of eating so much because throughout my childhood, with four older brothers and a mom who worked in the restaurant business, I spent a lot of time fending for myself, eating alone – and recognizing how eating together made all the difference – Ma intreb oare daca nu cumva faptul ca iubesc comuniunea data de actul de manca impreuna vine din copilarie, cand, cu patru frati mai mari si o mama care lucra la un restaurant, am petrecut mult timp avand grija de propria-mi persoana si mancand singur; asa am ajuns sa recunosc ce important este sa mananci impreuna cu altii. (Thomas Keller)

Change the food in the schools and we can influence how children think. Change the curriculum and teach them how to garden and how to cook and we can show that growing food and cooking and eating together give lasting richness, meaning, and beauty to our lives – Schimbati mancarea din scoli si veti schimba modul cum gandesc copiii. Schimba programa si invatati-i cum sa munceasca in gradina, cum sa gateasca si astfel le veti arata ca a cultiva mancare si a gati si a manca impreuna ne aduc bogatie, sens si frumusete in viata. (Alice Waters)

When we come to the table, we shouldn’t negotiate right away. We should spend time walking together, eating together, making acquaintance, telling each other about our own suffering, without blame or condemnation – Cand ne asezam la masa pentru a negocia, n-ar trebui sa incepem imediat. Ar trebui sa petrecem timp impreuna, sa mancam impreuna, sa ne cunoastem, sa ne spunem unii altora despre ce suferinte am incercat in viata, fara a invinovati sau condamna. (Nhat Hanh)
